Well well , 4th day on the new job at the travel agency. Its monotonous but not challenging. I guess i would say its just really boring. Im making flyers for school overseas trips, but they're all so standard!! Need to have the itenary, attractive pictures, the terms and conditions... BORING! You cant add anything else!! Talk about advertising, i saw this wondeful advertisment by HTC yesterday :
"You dont need to get a phone. You need a phone that gets you!"
i was like OMG! so clever! so witty! And THATS what you need to send customers flocking to your nearest outlet, not your word crammed paper.
The person in charge of us is Mia..and she's really really nice! Ahh im really regretting losing my temper when she called me to say that the interview was off. oops. Even fiona, the boss was quite nice to us too. She kept advising us on what to do and stuff.. and she can go on for quite a while and i like that! Helps us waste some time.. ahahahaha. But to that poor sucker from HK, Fiona's a totally different story. Getting warmer to the point of this whole post.
Anyway i was supposed to do a flyer for Vietnam i think, and Mia isnt familiar to the place, so she asked me to ask her colleague, Kokwei, the price of the trip. I went to kokwei " Excuse me can you help me check the price of the vietnam trip? "
She freaking snatched the half done flyer from my hand and slammed it on the table.
"I'm busy. I help you check later. " she says gruffly without looking up from her very mesmerising computer screen.
Me : "Okayyyyy..." walks back to seat
Seconds later,
"Can you ask April to help you check anot?!?! I'm not the only one here who can check the price you know ?!?!!!! "
KNNBCCB! Couldnt you hear that Mia was the one who asked me to ask you, you fucking half-deaf bitch! (the office is quite small so you can hear goddamn thing everyone is saying) Nvm. Still got more.
I walked up to April. "Ca-"
She didnt even give me the chance to finish my word.
"IM BUSY!!!!!!!!"
Seriously, WTF! You think i want to ask you in the first place meh?!?!
I know you're busy
I know you're stressed
But is that any excuse to behave so RUDELY? Would you treat a fellow colleague like THIS?! Issit because i'm young, and a middle-aged hag like you is jealous of my youthfulness? haha
I obviously didn't expect you to do it on the spot! CCB.
You not happy with your colleagues dun take it out on me! Fustrated at your flabby fat belly spewing out at your jeans dun take it out on me! Take it out on your equally fat and ugly husband / boyfriend (if you even have one). GOSH.
You might say im new to this whole " corporate world " thing but do people in the working world do that to everyone who approaches them? And i thought adults were more mature. Just say " Sorry im busy. i'll help you later" can already what! It seriously doesnt justify your shouting.
Whats more after a while this fuckwit started saying stuff about me to Mia in malay.
With a maid present in practically my whole life, i can understand the language, but i never learnt how to speak it. Fuck you man. So much things to say about me already?? Just from a small question i never got chance to complete? Just because i was following instructions from Mia??
I know that in the office everything is fast and furious but you still dont have to be so rude.Even if i approached you at the wrong time, you still can be polite. Call it a moment of weakness, but when i heard that i seriously was considering to quit. Work so hard, kena shouted at for no reason, low pay,long working hours. Way to go, employee welfare department. Oh i forgot. No such thing. You shits can die killing each other.
And God forbid that in future i will have a character and tolerance as disgusting as yours. And body too if i might add.
